Chat get together...

Working on planning a rather short notice chat get together this Sunday evening at 7PM central in Talk Cents chat. For those who do not know yet how to get in or operate the feature, read the following:

Sign in using any name, and any password you can remember. Your email address is preferred but optional.

The chat is not a "live" chat, it is a message board. When you type a message hit "post" to submit your message, then hit "reload" once in a while to see replies to your post. If enough people are there, the coversation gets pretty heated up, and we end up going through a couple hundred posts in less than an hour. When you want to leave the chat, there is a "leave" button that will log you out. The "post", "reload", and "leave" buttons are all next to each other right under the text entry area for your message - you can't miss them.

It has been a while since I've tried to put one of these nights together, so I'm unsure how many are likely to show up - but try to be there if you can so we can all "talk" to one another on a more or less live basis.

Bring images of coins you're having trouble identifying, bring your coin questions, your coin knowledge...sit back have a beer or coffee and enjoy the evening with us.

Maybe you may want to try this the following Sunday ... you may or maynot know, but this is the same Sunday, thy are playing the Super Bowl. (a football thangy)

But then again, it may work pretty good, if one or the other team, happens on a run-away with the scoring.

Count me in ( I'll watch) when a date works out for the majority. One lucky guy has a whole lot of free time as of 36 days ago! The Lord provides many great things in life and retirement sure is one of them!

Let's give this evening a shot and see how it works out. Talk Cents at 7PM central today, 02/26/2005 (Saturday). There has been quite a bit of conversation there this past week, so maybe people are starting to warm up to the idea they'll find either Bob or myself in there more regularly.

If you can't make it on Saturdays, please speak up...I'd like to make this as available to everyone as possible. Thanks!
