He's my uncle and is finally catching the die variety bug!
I guess it might have helped a bit that he was with me when I bought the 1968D roll that contained the big doubled die - in fact, he's the one who found the rolls first but was kind enough to let me buy them.
Uncle Mark - May you have the luck of the Irish with you when learning this hobby...The thrill of the hunt is really cool, but the finds are what make it worthwhile. Let's find some goodies!!

Welcome, UncleCD,
I have only been a member of this site for a couple of months. But, with me, something got into my head about wheat pennies and I can’t get enough of them. … Maybe it’s a tumor …

A personal welcome for you too UncleCD! Whatever you do....Don't let Chuck let you think he knows everything. I asked him a simple question about quantum physics, and he didn't have a clue Really though...I am sure you will find the folks in this forum both knowledgeable and friendly. We really like it here! Welcome again!

Hey UncleCD welcome to these boards. And by the way- Bob is right, Chuck DOES NOT know everything- Just the other day I asked him what temperature rocket fuel burned at and he had no clue- Do you believe that-NO CLUE ... SHEESH.

Would that be solid fuel (nitrate) or liquid fuel (oxygen) rockets? They burn at different temperatures.

Thanks Guys, I've monitored Chuck since he was little,
both of us are interested in the same things, I'm VERY
proud of his work in all fields. I may just be a curious
forum lurker until I learn more............Mark

I'd also like to add my welcome as well Mark! Chucks' vision and determination to provide an absolute top quality site for the FREE dissemination of info on Lincoln varieties has caused tsunamis of it's own in our hobby. A LOT of very knowledgible, talented and kind people are here at Coppercoins because of sharing that vision and willing to help at any time. Again, welcome Mark!
