Awesome coins ken. The link is from the 6th page of this section. My Vams 4, 5 and 6. The VAMs 5 and 6 were eventually graded MS63 by NGC.

Just noticed the date of that post Gary. How long did it take you to find that one Shocked Here's a few GSA Vams I have.I sent them in a couple years ago and didn't even know Vams existed back then Rolling Eyes Embarassed 1st coin is the V-3c and is a strongly clashed coin,2nd is the V-4 and lastly the V-4b.The 83 should have come back dmpl I think and the other 2 pl.You can go here http://www.vamworld.com/Morgan+VAMs+By+Date to see better pics of these and all Vams.

I think keeping them in the holders is best Smile

Just knowing that it was holdered as a GSA adds to it and also sort of says it wasn't messed with or dipped or anything.

Is that how most collectors feel about it?

Ed: Yes, definitely. Ever since NGC started grading them in the holders, there has been alot of interest in keeping the coins in them. Also, it was becoming apparent that the scarcer dates that were in GSA holders like the 78-CC, 79-CC, 90-CC and 91-CC pay premiums over TPG holders when offered in GSA plastic. The premiums do not carry over to coins in NGC or PCGS or other TPG holders that are attributed to the GSA, however.

Which coin are you referring to, Ken? Also, your '83 and '84 look prooflike at least on the reverses.

Hi Gary,I was referring to finding the old post Laughing .I think all should have been pl with the 83 dmpl. These also were submitted before NGC started keeping them in original holders.
