Hi Ken, I am doing very well, and staying very, very busy. Thanks for the holiday wishes, and I certainly wish you and yours the same.
As far as the 1966 coins, It did look a bit like there were two different sizes, but that could be a result of several things including die wear, and strength of strike... or even an optical illusion Since all of the working hubs were made with the same master hub, all the way down to the working dies, it is impossible for it to be two different size heads. There has to be another reason for what we are seeing. The detail on the first coin is not as crisp as the second.

Thank you Bob for the holiday wishes also.I tried to line the tip of the nose up with the 1 and the back of the head with the y and with we at the top. There is some obstruction or possible glare on the top so cfan't really tell there but they pretty much look the same except for sharpness as you said.I have purchased some nice errors from the seller and even saw Mike Diamond with some bids in with this guy I believe.(Chirp in if you're there Mike.)He has tons of errors of all denominations with many slabbed. He seems like he knows his stuff, but you never know.I'll ask him about this one and let you know what he says.

If Mike were to say it is a new one, can you imagine the hulabalu that would follow, with everyone, grabbing those old checked, and tossed coins?
