Good luck to you Coop!!!! I hope you can still retrieve your files and info off your old harddrive!
By the way, I called my server (Shaw) to help me set up Outlook when I had to get a new machine recently. The guy did a "remote assistance" thing with me and walked me through connecting to them then he went into my computer and set up my Outlook for me while I sat back and watched someone else work my computer from the internet
You could ask them to set you up so that you still have all your old emails etc integrated with the new connection. They did that for me once when I wanted to have all my old emails still showing in my new account. No harm in asking your server if they can remote assist you or walk you through setting up your Outlook???
PS: I've had a Yahoo email account for years and do my emailing, or most of it, using that one. I'm a renter and move so servers change, but online email accounts are ALWAYS accessible so people can reach you and you them no matter what computer you're on

At times I've been computerless or netless and have had to use the local library net connection to keep up with my emailing so it's been great for me over the years to be able to stay in touch with people whether I have access from home or not.
I do use my server account for sites and business that won't accept web based email accounts addresses. Places like government sites won't usually accept webbased email accounts.
