The RPM for that die is only on the die with the mint mark with the that was on that die.

Note the location of the mint mark on this die and then note the location of the mint mark on your coin. They are not in the same location. Thus the coin you have is not from that die.

Umm, I think what he's trying to say is that since the mintmark position on your coin does not match with the mintmark position for 1956D-1MM-008, there's no way your coin could be an example of 1956D-1MM-008...and I agree.

The mintmark on your coin is too low to match up with that die. The extra mintmark you are seeing is unfortunately your imagination.

I agree. The shadow that is below, and to the right is not a MM. If anything, just an imperfection in the surface.

Sometimes Coop can at times, occasionally, use a whole lot more, or a really great much more number of, unnecessary words than that single solitary occasion really calls for, in all actuality.

oh come on... i haven't picked on coop in ages...!! Smile

Yes, that mintmark is not high like the primary on RPM-8.

I found several circ RPM-8 and the way to find them is look for the real high primary mint mark and if you see it look close for the extra D. Beware, there are other high ones without the extra D below it. Wink

On your coin I do something there so I know what you're looking at but whatever it is isn't RPM-8.
