Based on the fat letters and egg drop look to the . I am concluding this is a DDR. I have not looked for an attribution yet.

You're right that it's a doubled die. Not sure whether one exists like it in Bob's or my collections though. It would be a new listing as far as I'm concerned.

Nice pick-up. I find class 6 DDR's hard to see, but this one sure looks good to me.

Rollmeupabe....I only have one 1942S doubled die reverse in my collection, and it looks very similar to the one you have. I may have to use yours on the site as mine is pretty worn and is difficult to find markers. Could you snap a picture of the date and mintmark so I can see if the mintmark positioning is the same?
