Don't have the coin in-hand yet but did manage to pull some pictures off the web page it was loaded on. (E-Bay Item, I won)
2004D DDR 'CDDR-004'

When I get coin in-hand, I'll post better pictures for yas.

Chuck, this one will be coming your way also ... for the boards and sending into ANACS. Have you figured out when you will be sending in, a batch yet ... I'm going to add this one, to the ones that we have already talked about.

That is a very nice looking doubled die. Great buy!

I just got today a 2003 wavy step cent that is listed under Crawford from ebay. I have not looked at it yet with my loupe, because I cant find it. I will get to that. Maybe I can send it to Chuck when he gets time for it.

That would be good because I noticed that it's not shown in the die search pages as of yet ... just PM or e-mail him and he will let you know.

Ditto on your's also.

Good deal...that is a nice one. I've never seen it before, which is why it's not on the site. Cool!

Tell you all one thing, get a chance at this one ... go for it, it's much nicer in hand ... it should be on the search page within a few weeks, it's been sent in.

(Holidays and all that shopping and honey do/s ... lol)

We do understand really we do. Wink

I belive that these are the photos taken by Smitty the original finder of these 2004D Lincolns. Smitty is a member of Error World and I can't for the life of me get him to come here or to Variety Coins. I am not sure what he is doing right but I think we will hear more from him in the future. So far I think he has found 2 maybe 3 different 2004D DDR Varieties. ~lucky2

Oh sure blame it on me. LOL Thats one thing I find with coin collectors and more specifically variety collectors. It seems we have our niche and enjoy sharing it. Joe

Those 2004D CDDR-002's were ... well let's just say thy weren't as advertized.

Anyways ... did get another 2004D CDDR-004 in and noticed more doubling in the next to last bay:

...

Added some more pictures as promised.

Also noticed that the markers pictured on the one I sent in, are not on this one, below the date, front of the nose or below left edge of memorial steps, (maybe this one had a full run on the dies, meaning many are out there) Wink waiting to be found.
