I'm pretty darn sure of what this one is! Very happy too. Down to the last 20 coins in the bag. This one was the only one in the 40s that actually had a good amount of red remaining and to my surprise its the 1947-1DO-001! Cool Must be well into the AU range

Very, very nice!
After years and years of searching, I have probably been through close to 3,000 1947P cents and have found a grand total of two of these.

Wow! I'm honored to have found this. The funny thing is, like I said before, I used to set out dates with only the biggest varieties to search. I don't think I've ever searched 1947 for anything. It was just this week on that bag of pennies that I changed my ways and started checking ALL coins. The other two kicks are that there were probably only about 10 1947 coins in that bag and that coin was the best conditioned coin in the whole bag! Now that's lucky!
