Been a while since I have posted. Actually been a while since I have found anything close to being worth posting.
found this one this evening. It was the last coin I was going to look at before calling it a night.
To my tired eyes, it appears to have a very minor clash on the obverse, any opinions? I hope the photos are good enough to show it.
Thanks Dave

The photos are great and do show a pretty strong die clash. They call these 'prisoner cents'. It is a great clash.

This is not a minor clash, but a fairly strong one. Nice find and congratulations.

Thanks everyone for your replies. Although my wife got great pleasure in the fact that when I said it was a minor clash and she said that is no minor clash, and was proven right by your comments. It gave her pleasure in telling me I told you so for 30 min or so. LOL.
Now for my next question. Can anyone tell me what the average value of these coins are. I can not find a site that lists values for clashed dies.
Thanks again
Dave

Dave - without seeing the reverse and the clash there, I cannot say. If there is a nice clash on the reverse as well, then $20.00 to $25.00 would be a good price.

I have never seen one of these until you posted this. Then this weekend I found two in the same box! One is a 1999 identical to yours and the other is a 2000 with just one of the bars in the neck.
