Per Coin World, Feb 14 issue page 2, these varieties have also been found in San Antonio, TX. "About 40" of them among $1000 face at a credit union.
"Rick Snow of Eaghle Eye Rare Coins, Tucson, said that as of mid-January he knew of 'only 500 or so examplesl of the two varities combined that had been reported in the Tucson area."
Also, J.T. Stanton/ Bill Fivaz will add these vars to the forthcoming second volume of the fourth edition.
"Leaf High" is cat # FS-25-2004D-5901
"Leaf Low" is cat # FS-2004D-5902
'There is already too much publicity, interest and even sales not to list them', Stanton said"
"The average production life for State quarter dollar reverse dies has varied by design but overall has run between 200,000 and 300,000 strikes."
