Hi,
Thanks to the images on Chuck's website, I may have found my first Class VI die. CONECA unfortunately lists 10 reverse dies, I think, so I should check my notes and examine the coin some more for the markers, if any are left. It's got normal average wear for an old wheatie.
Oh, I looked at around 75 1939's to find this one, and no obverse die varieties in the bunch.
