I wonder if the legal fight will still continue with appeals?

Don't ever turn a coin over to the government to verify if it's real!
They might say "yes it's real and it's ours" Razz

What a load of crap. Talk about a miscarriage of justice. There was a 10(?) day window in which someone could've gotten 1933 eagles from the mint. WTF happened to that??

Some "A-hole" in congress found it, and figured out a way to close it?

I hope the government has enough sense to distribute the coins to various museums, instead of melting them.

They spent millions of tax dollars and tied up a courts time forever to take the coins from someone that would have had to pay millions in taxes and commissions to auctions (that also pay taxes).

So now if the gov does not sell some of the coins to raise money to repay the taxpayers then the whole thing was a boondoggle.

I think they should put 1-2 in museums and sell the rest in a 10 million a shot GSA sale.

I like your idea better, Ed. The irony would be difficult to comprehend. But it would be a great idea.
