It's a relatively small die crack. Whether it is a known crack for the issue I'm not sure.

I was not "paying attention", and tried to post a reply to your post, CCF, and NOT!

Chuck, I believe I know why the " radial crack' was used.
In the work with Canadian large cents, we run into both the "radial" cracks, which emanate from the coenter if the die, and also the "circular" cracks, which tend to follow the legends.
