I picked this up quite cheap and am puzzled on which head this is.I think it is the head of 1794 as the bottom curl above the 1 in the date looks to be a match for 1794.It comes around more than the 1795 style.I'm also a but confused as to what is above the head where the E in Liberty is and in front of the bust across from the chin..Appears to be a dot and more design at 12:00 and extra metal in front of the bust.I know this is quite corroded but any help would be appreciated.

Those are great pics, Ken, but I cant make out anything.. Its a nice coin to have, especially preserving it from some unfortunate demise.

Hi Gary,Yes I know it doesn't look to good, but is a little better in hand. The last scan is of date area and if you look carefully can easily bee seen. The reverse is quite readable.I was thinking that maybe Coop can do his magic with an overlay to see if can determine which head it may be.I know it's a longshot but maybe worth a try.Check this coin out I just saw on that other site that sold recently. Have a great day,Ken http://www.ebay.com/itm/260923328195

I can't tell for sure on your coin. It could be a 94-95-96 because they all had a wreath reverse.

I did some painting for the date if you can't see it.Quite easily seen with coin in hand. All 4 digits are there.
