Here's something I don't quite understand:
What could cause a Lincoln memorial column to be bent? Photo is reverse of a 1964.

Well, that's a good question. I believe that's a sign that the die is fatigued and is warping. I have seen it on the reverses of 1966, 1968, and 1972 cents, but have always dismissed it. It could be something collectible, but I personally never bothered...which doesn't at all mean it is valualess, just that I personally don't take interest in non-die variety coins.
