Searching through about $10 in cents from my dad's stash and found a naked eye visible 2001D wavy steps coin - really strong example, and the first of its kind that I know of for the date.
I found half a dozen other rather interesting minors, but nothing worth getting long winded about.
Also found two circ wheats - 1944D and 1957D. Neither are special.

Chuck,
I have a few 2001 "P" Lincoln cent wavy steps but not any "D" mint in my files.
Nice going...
Regards,
Billy

Way to go Chuck. Remember a year or two ago when we commented that there were no recent varieties out of the Denver mint? I guess we were wrong! WOuld love to see the pics!
