According to the May 2nd issue of CW, a 1998-S proof cent with a close AM was discovered in Oklahoma by a collector.
I wonder now if there are any 2000 close AM proof cents. Everyone keep an eye out for them. Im sure that they are out there to be discovered.

Gabe,
Yep -- I saw that article Gabe. I would be looking at all proof sets 1994 to present. 1993 is an odd year since both the business strike coins and proof coins exhibit the Class I types.
Regards,
Billy

It is documented that there are more than just the 1998, 1999, and 2000 wide AM cents. I have heard of 1996 and possibly 2001. Like Billy, I check EVERYTHING from 1991 to date.
