hey guys check this out.......i found this going through the goldmine of 1952 D cents i found but more about that later.......first of all this coin IS already a RPM a very slight D/D south but in the area between the bust and the edge....looks to be a bar of another D.....but it also could be a die chip or a gouge, but it does not protrude into the bust......and this is not the already famous one......let me know what you think

Matt...The scope and light box we use for the site photos can get a bit pricey. You can go to http://www.amberdepot.com and have a look at the scopes and prices he has them at. Chuck and I use the microscope #2.
As far as the light source, we use the ECO-150, 180 watt light source and the BG-018 self-supporting, bifurcated light guide.
(in other words, a fiber optic light box with dual goose neck guide.) You can see those at http://www.appliedscientific.com.
You may also want to go to the forum index and read the posts under the 'coin photography help' section. You might get some idea on what others use to photograph their coins.
