http://www.cnn.com/2005/US/04/27/treasure.found.ap/index.html

While removing a stump, a guy found a box of buried currency including (apparently) Nationals and gold/silver certificates in his back yard.

Two lessons:
1. Yardwork can be rewarding.
2. You never know what you'll find, so keep looking.

Robert,

This story gets better. After making the rounds on several national news shows it turns out to be a hoax. The guys were working on a construction job and found the bills on the job. They then stole them and concocted the story about finding them when doing landscaping.

Yep, it was all a hoax.

If the guys would have kept their mouth shut about the bills, they would have probably been able to get away with their crime. Those crooks werent too bright.

Don't feel bad; everybody did, including the trades.
