problem

This is my first post here, I've posted pics.on other sites but am having a problem here. I get to the img. box then what? I dont see a browse or manage file area what am I missing?Thanks.

Hi Gofish. Welcome to the forum!
There seems to be some problems posting images here for some folks, but not for others. To post your image, make sure the pic is loaded to your personal webspace or another site which allows image downloads. To get your pic on the forum, click the image box above...type in the address where the image is located, and then click the image box again. The line should look something like this:

[ img]http://www.mywebspace.com/mypic.jpg[ /img]

(please disregard the space between the '[' and the letters img and / as I put them there to be able to show you the line.)

Once you have done that, you can check and see if your image will show up on the forum by selecting the preview button below your post. If your pic shows up, then you did it. If not, check your spelling or link. You can push the back button on your browser to edit and then submit your thread.

Thanks but they dont show up,the pics are in my briefcase,maybe I should move them elsewhere,maybe my pictures? Thanks again.

If your pictures are not first uploaded to a web space some were on the internet ... thy will not load on here.

Need to setup a personel web page some were or upload your pictures to a site on the web ... befor you post on the board/s, for them to work. (if thy are not on the web some were, thy will not load on here)

Some web page software (Frontpage) will let you load them to a web space (page) from different location/s on your computer, but again ... if that web page is not uploaded to the web ... you can't re-locate them (pictures) here. (because thy were not uploaded to the web first.)

example: [img]were your pictaures are[/img]

If your pictures are only on your computer, will not work ... thy have to be uploaded, to the web (internet) somewere, first.
