Are there pictures of any OMMs on coppercoins.com. I searched a pile of 1952ds and found 2 of the OMM#1, one of the OMM#2, one DDO#1 and a bunch of RPMs. I was trying to find the OMMs on the website but did not find them in d or s mint marks. As soon as I can figure out how to post pictures on Verizon I will try to post a few.

Do a die variety search on 1952-D mint mark variety and it will be listed after the rpm's. Joe

I am not aware of a DDO # 1 for 1952D and I am also not aware of an OMM #2. Are you sure you weren't meaning 1951D? If so, you can find them all listed at the following link of coppercoins.com.

Sorry for the error in the date. I did mean 1951D. Thanks for the link also. The pictures are a great help. Yesterday was a great searching day. In addition to these 1951d's I also found some 1941 DDO's. I planned an indoor weekend since the weather in Boston was supposed to be rainy, rainy and rainy. This morning the sun is shining again but I am hooked on searching. It is amazing how finding a neat coin drives you to look more. I have decided variety collecting is an addiction.

Glad I was able to help rollmeupabe.
I had heard the weather up there was horrible, but it should be nicer the next week or so. I am headed to Boston on Wednesday for a vacation and family reunion. I haven't been back there since 1976, and since I grew up there, I can't wait to see how things have changed in the last 30 something years.
Glad to see you have had a good search run going on. I have them off and on, and it is hard to 'let go' when things are going so well. Keep it up and let us know what other treasures you find.

I was raised on Long Island, many, many years ago. So many, I was able to go fishing in trout streams that passed just a couple of hundred yards from my house. The last time I was up North was in 1967 and the open fields and woods that I grew up in were nothing but a sprawling housing development. Hopefully you will not see the drastic changes that I did Bob, it is unnerving to say the least. Still though, have a great trip and have a safe one to boot. Maybe one of these days before my "young" days (LOL) pass by, I will make that trip back to the place where I grew up and try to recognize something from my childhood.

Regards,
BJ Neff

Great to hear you are headed to Boston. If you start to feel coin searching withdrawal symptoms I live near Framingham and can lend you my microscope! Hope you have a great time. Since the Sox are beating on the Yankees again tonite Boston fans should be happy for a few days.

I am sure I will not recognize much (if anything) when I get there wavysteps, but just the fact that I am headed back 'home' makes me very anxious. Boston wasn't such a nice place when I left there to go in the military in 1973.
I used to be very familiar with Framingham rollmeupabe. I believe I still have a cousin or two who live in that area.
I too was watching the Redsox-Yankees game. I am very fortunate in that I will get to see 2 games while I am up there. Thursday versus Baltimore, and Saturday versus the Angels. Can hardly wait to visit the ballpark I spent many years going to while growing up.
I will see you all when I get back around the 8th or 9th of June. Keep searching!!!
