Hi everyone, my name is Joe and I am from New Mexico. I recently got into numismatics and have been looking all over the internet for resources. I have been to coppercoins.com but only recently discovered this forum!

I am starting out by collecting lincoln cents 1909-present. So far my collection is coming along great thanks to some folks on collectors universe.

Are there any other newbies here collecting lincoln cents? If so, check my want list below and send me yours, I have lots of duplicates that I can look through! I have all the memorial cents so I'm basically working on a wheatie collection at this point. Here it is:

Hi joe and welcome all though i'am a newbie as well years ago my dad got me started in collecting LC's and i certainly can look through my extras to help ya with filling the holes. i state newbie cause it's been a couple decades since last time i was active in coin collecting...can update ya with what i got here on this thread i guess..fellow "newbie" looking foward to future..learnings.

Wow thanks Chuck! That sounds great. For now, Im trying to trade wheaties and accumulate them to fill holes in my collection. In about a month or so I'll see how my list looks and send it to you then. That way you dont have nearly as many holes to fill. Also, I'm always looking to upgrade poor coins in my set so if you have multiples of each I'm sure you could help me upgrade my problem coins as well! Later sometime I'm sure I'll be "knocking at your door" dying to fill the holes. In a month or two I will have gotten a couple more paychecks as I just started my job and am getting financially stable.

Matt Dinger: That sounds great. Since you are running a store, does that mean you are mainly looking to sell? Since I am a poor college student I am going to try to trade to fill as many holes as I can at first, then inevitably start purchasing keys and semi-keys once I save some cash. Are you also looking to trade or just sell?

Wow thats a ton of holes filled. My girlfriend got so excited helping me check them off she might have even forgot to put one or two, I'll have to double check when I get home from work. That is absolutely amazing! You made my day!!!!
