For all those who know LLoyd Hanson, I have just been informed that he went through emergency surgery. For what, I am not sure. However, please keep him in mind that he will pull through this crisis with flying colors.

For those that do not know Lloyd, he is one of the largest collectors of RPMs in the nation.

At times, life seems so fragile and the older we become, the more fraile it is.

Thank you Robert for the notice! In all my years of collecting Lincoln rpm's, Mr. Hanson is one of the most knowledgible and kindest people I've had the pleasure to correspond with over many years. I pray my/our friend comes thru his recent trial.

I've never met him but have heard nothing but good about him. My thoughts are with him.

Now I know what it is like to very ill. Just got out the the hospital yesterday from 9 days of swimming away from the light... I haven't been been feeling well for several weeks. After a bunch of tests, which came back saying I was OK, clolestrol low, average blood pressure, no infection, white cell count correct, everything looked fine. So I got a shot for my allergies and a script for a stronger sleeping pill. Yet a month went by and no improvement except for easier movement in my legs as the allergy shot was a steriod and it helped a lot. Kind of a 40% plus to daily routine as I coupld get around without stiffness in my legs. They felt sore like you payed Football for the first time in 40 years, but I hadden't. So Doc said to see him in a month. When the week of my appointment arrived I noticed a heavier beat in my heart and I could see a pulse in my eyes but it was irregular as I would see it for a time and then It would disappear, then appear again. That was on Sunday, so my appointment was on Wednesday so I hoped that would continue just to check it with the Doctor. Well it did and the nurse checked my blood pressure and again it was fine so I told her about my heart pounding sometimes very hard. So when the Doc came in I told him and he got out his EKG machine and checked me out. He didn't like what he saw and told me get to the emergency room ASAP. After checking me out they admitted me to the Hospital. They tested me for days and followed my heart rhymthms with a heart monitar. They realized that my left/bottom side of my heart wasn't working right and decided to to look into it with a wire throught the leg to see if I had any blockage. So they found no blockage just healthy veins and arteries, but noticed that the bottom half of my heart would go into V-Tec which meant that insted of pumping it would go into spells of just quivering. They thought a virus had attack the lower half electrical connection so I got a Pace maker to solve the problem. So now I'm home taking a bunch of pills, sore and fighting a side effect from one of the medicines I received in the hospital. My veins didn't like the medication introveinsly, but doesn't mind it in pill form. They had to try 3 different medications one night trying to stop my heart from V-Tec and that was the only one that worked. So I just glad to be alive. Gonna be off from work for a spell, but that is what sick pay is for. So I'm home and doing fine.

Coop...I am so very sorry to hear about your hospitalizaton, but very glad to hear that you are home and getting better. It is scary to find out that your body controls you...you don't necessarily control it. Stay well rested Coop, and keep us informed of your progress...OK?

Coop - Really glad to hear you're doing better. You take care of yourself and keep checking in with us. Heck, I might just call you in a week or so to check in on you. PLEASE do what the docs tell you, take care!

Chuck
