I have only one thing left to edit and I should be about finished with the visual configuration of the board - I need to create new buttons for "new post", "post reply", etc...I don't like the ones that came with the style.
Other than that, does everyone like the colors, text type, link sizes, etc. that they see now, or are there any change requests out there?

I think it looks great and goes well with the site. I agree that the buttons could use a change. They are very familiar to phpbb users but for anyone else, they are a little cryptic.
I saw there were two styles in my Profiles page but they looked the same, I believe. One thing to keep in mind is that, in the admin control panel, you can make one style the default and set the software to override the user's selection of style. It makes it so you only have to worry about mainaining one style and you know that your users are seeing the forum the way you meant them to. Just a thought.

Done...thanks. I didn't think of just deleting that test style I tried out but didn't like. I already had it overriding user choice, but now that there's only one choice, it doesn't really matter.
The buttons will be replaced some time within the next week.

That explains why they looked the same...you had already overridden it.

I just widened the board to 80% of screen size from a set 700 pixels wide. That'll fill more people's screens a bit better and alleviate some of the negative black-space, and make the whole board fit in a little less space. I hope this works well for everyone.
Edited....widened to 90% - received a suggestion that it be full-screen...I went half way.

Hiya Cladking...I've been working on some new image icons (with words) so people don't get lost trying to post and read messages. This sort of thing can be confusing for people who don't have experience with it, and the little picture icons provided don't cut it for me....sooo, I made-em myself! LOL!

Chuck,
How many posts will get me promoted from one red disk to one or two gold disks etc? I assume that's what the "Star Trek" rank is for. Are there categories other than Site Admin and New Member?

Those will probably change appearance before too long, but there are a number of different ranks:
site admin - special rank for yours truly. Doesn't change.
moderator - special rank for moderators. Doesn't change.
new member - < 25 posts.
member - < 100 posts.
advanced member - < 200 posts.
veteran member - < 500 posts.
senior member - < 1000 posts.
expert member - 1000 posts or more.
