i just received a 1864 2 cent with the reverse 180 degrees out of rotation. just wondering the value if any. thanks tracy.

Hi Tracy....A 180 degree rotation is a pretty nice find...no matter what the coin. There are a few specifics that could affect the value for this piece. What condition is the coin in? Also, ther were large and small motto varieties that year. The small motto is more scarce. Do you know which one you have?
So...based on those factors, we should be able to get an idea. Ultimately though, it's a supply and demand issue. If the coin is in nice shape, there is no telling what a collector would be willing to give you for it. My best guess would be about 50 bucks for a nice fine - very fine specimen.....maybe more.
