Is this a 51D variety or just a gouge?

I am not familiar with a 51D variety showing a vertical bar to the north of the D. Is this a known variety or just a well placed die gouge?

Right off hand it appears to be a die gouge. I don't remember a listed RPM with an appearance like that one.

It is a gouge. I have seen plenty of them and studied it carefully to make sure.
