Hi guys, I'm back at it again, a little different than the last one but tryed to keep the same format. Had to find another photo server the one I had before went from bad to worse, I plan on submitting this one regardless of reconition or not. The way I look at it, If they use it, I know who's design it is.

I had worked up an obverse design, but added a reverse idea. The images are crude, but may get others to apply their ideas. It would be nice if someone from the site helped form an idea for the 2009 Cent. Of course we would probably get no credit for it, but we would know what our contribution was. So please excuse the poor art work and the substition on an image. Its is the idea that I looking for. Just a poor artist. Some have it, but I don't.

The reverse is fantastic though the mint would probably move the legend to the right.

Here is an obverse design I just designed. I forgot to put the dates 1909-2009, but I guess they could go under IGWT with the star between both dates...
The coin would be like the Chinese Pandas silver bullion coins, no rim. Im pretty sure that there this could be a problem for circulation coins, but I designed it without a rim. A rim could be added to the design later.
Finally, Im not happy with the LIBERTY. It looks a lot like the liberty in the Roosevelt dime. I will eventually try to fix that.

What have you got in mind for the reverse Gabe? My only negative about your design is that there seems to be too much empty space in the center of the coin. Maybe centering the bust of Lincoln would help with the design?

I dont know what Ill do for the reverse.
When I saved the picture in photoshop, I saved it as one pic, and now cant edit it like I would normally do in photoshop. I think Ill come up with a new design obverse and a reverse to go with it.
If I wanted to center the face, I would need to delete it, paste a new picture and then play around with it. Ill do that in a couple of days.

Gabe: Check to see if you haven't flattened yet. If that doesn't work try using the Save for Web option and save it as a JPG image and see if you can edit it then.

Gabe a thought hit me about your first Obverse image with the open space in the center. You might try adding the flag in that middle area? Just a passing thought.
