School's almost out!

I finish Astronomy class next week, and I couldn't be happier to put an end to a catastrophe. I picked up a little from there, but the majority of it went in one ear and out the other - I just couldn't understand everything the instructor tried to mash into my thick skull...quantum physics, nuclear physics, subatomic particles, particle acceleration, wavelengths, frequencies, and the electromagnetic spectrum, BLAHHHH!!!

Almost all "science" of one sort or another (even geology) and very little of what I would call "astronomy".

Congrats on almost being done. I am looking at the possibly going to school again to get a degree but each time I look at the $$$ (make that $$$$$$) I get discouraged. I have a great deal of respect for people that choose to further educate themselves.

Not graduating this semester, and neither...it's an AAS in Internet Application Development. I went into the military instead of going to college when I graduated high school, and am just now getting caught up on my education. I may end up doing the BS, but for now I need to get this degree over with and concentrate for a while on the site.

Well Chuck, it's time to get into the subjects you enjoy. The last few classes you haven't liked very much. In any case, the betterment of yourself is commendable. Keep up the good work and we can continue watching you apply your 'learnins' to the site.
