Just about to give it up and go to bed. Pulled out some 28's. Second one was a 28' 1DO-001.
Now I know I won't get any sleep.
Shocked

Nice find. What grade, and does it have the clash mentioned on the site?

Oh, BTW, die variety threads should be in the die variety section - no biggie, just helps people find the threads more easily.

Sorry about that. Don't know why I put it on here. I took these pictures. They are not very good. As for a grade, I'm no good at that. The rim seem good, about half the wheat lines are showing and there are no real trouble spots just an average circulated coin it appears. Looks to be a double or triple clash of the T in CENT, can't tell what it is at the shoulder looks to be what is shown on the photo listed on this site and the eyelid is either doubled or tripled hard to tell. With so many similarities I took it as the 1DO-001. Hope I wasn't wrong.

What would cause the marks on the edge of the bust on that die? The edge looks like the columns of the Memorial reverse on it? Great die clash. What does the reverse have on it? Or was the reverse traded out for a better one?

Coop - If that's the correct die it would have a die clash of the EPU underneath the bust on the obverse...the strongest such clash I had ever seen when I photographed the die mentioned on the site.
