I was looking through some RPMs today to try to identify some of the ones I've found in past years and never determined what RPM number they are. But I ran across this coin:
I examined the coin and thought, what a nice East RPM this is. Well I turned the coin to a different angle and what did I find?

I wondered how many RPMs were just like this one? Only time will tell.

None of the RPMs that I attribute have signs like this one. When I saw your post I immediately recognized it as a die scratch. I am always very careful to eliminate all other possibilities before calling a coin an RPM. In other words, I have to be proven it is, not proven it isn't.
