Found a couple of 1973's that show a bit or a notch on the top right arm of the Y in LIBERTY and seems to have some extra thickness in the date? Any help with this?
Thanks,
Steven

Steven,
You will find that most 1973 cents will have what appears to be extra thickness on the date...especially on the 7 and 3. This is pretty much normal for the date. As far as the notch on the Y of LIBERTY....I would expect that if this were a doubled die, then notching would also be present on the T. Even if it is notching, I would think it would be too minor to list.
I also have one question regarding your photos. It seems that you are taking the photos with the coin tilted away from the lens. If this is true, is it possible for you to get more 'straight on' shots in the future? The angle really distorts the picture making it harder to pick up your points of interest.
