1865 large date? I thought those only came in "fancy 5" and "plain 5"....which is the "large" one?

Oh, okay...that would be "large motto" and "small motto"...has nothing to do with the date itself.

I agree,pretty nice bunch of folks over here as well.I don't know what my problem was the other day lol but I just could'nt write what I was thinking.I've been a member of the pcgs boards for over two years so you'd think by now I'd have the proof reading down pat. Laughing

We don't sweat the small stuff DX. Some of us have those days EVERY day. As Rich said, there seems to be a lot of knowledge hanging around here, and it's about all different things as well as numismatics. Check back in often!
