Still haven't gotten any better at the photos but hoping someone can identify this '69S RPM. Or at least I think it is. I'll try my best to discribe it. There is notching at the lower serif, a separation at the end of the upper serif and a separation line in the upper curve of the S. I thought maybe the die scratches through the date might be the best indicator.

Thanks,
Steven

Steven: Did you try the search? I ran a quick check to see if it is listed. It is.......

Don't know how I missed it. I opened a roll and did the search and found a 1MM-005 and 006 and two of the 003's.
Thanks, I'll look a little closer next time.
Steven

Steven not a problem. Being new here I wondered if you knew about that feature and you could use it to search for missing die numbers. Even if there are no images on the site if would give you the possible reference number and could check other sources. But thanks for the question.

I have a bag of about a couple dozen 1969-S red cents that I bought in Tulsa some time ago, probably from someone looking for the doubled die. I cant see any RPMs yet, but I will look at them again. That lump inside the bottom serif of the "S" is a good marker.

Actually the lump you are seeing is in the mintmark on most late 60s and early 70s issues from San Francisco. With that being the case, it's not a good marker to use in looking for anything specific.
