Hug Your Parents !!

I had a terrible experience over the last 24 hours. One of my brothers called me at work to say my father had been in a car accident. He lives in Maine about 3 hours away from where I live in Boston. He hit a tree head on resulting 5 broken ribs, a fractured sturnum, bruised heart, broken vertabrae in his neck and several cuts and bruises. So far they are diagnosing a 6-8 week recovery. Sometimes when I think about making the trip home I rationalize not having enough time. Now I think about how many hours I can spend searching coins in a weekend. My advice for the day is to ask yourself "when was the last time I hugged my kids, hugged my parents, took my spouse dancing, etc."
