Have the prices for wheaties been getting out of control. Every time I look at Ebay for some coins to buy the prices for pennies seems to go up even higher. Is there an index of sale prices tracked for Ebay sales? The price has to have tripled in the last year. That must be a good sign for Ebay stock holders.

The market has gone crazy! Not only on eBay the grey sheet seems to keep climbing. I had to pay $425.00 for a roll of 42S's off eBay the other day. A year ago I was getting some nice rolls for $285.00. This roll wasn't that nice till I found 6 1942S-1MM-012's they were all R/B 63's. Even then I had my mind half made up to send it back till I got to the last 5 coins and found a nice 1942S-1MM-001 AKA a 1942S-1DO-001! That pretty much made my mind up for me! Full RED and in the 65 range Allthough The reverse appeares to have a strike thru error. Pretty sure but soon as I takes some pictures I'll post them and see what everyone else thinks! But before I started crowing about my latest find Your right The prices on eBay have gone crazy!

Mike, thanks for confirming I am not crazy, you are !!!!!! If I spent $285 for a roll of pennies the next shipment out of my house would be me. It would be like that Fedex commercial where the people are shipped to a meeting and one guy ends up being left on the truck and gets dropped into traffic.

If the competition is willing to pay those kinds of prices for pennies I think it's time for me to find a new hobby. Wow. Can't wait to see the pictures of your find. I am sure it is a beauty.

Got my stash to look over and over. I always find something I missed, either that or they are growing doubled dies and RPMs since the last look. LOL
