Hi
Should I take my proofs out of my dansco album and put them in something else? I read some where that proofs will not hold up over time in albums.

Well Bruce, I have some nice Proofs in my Dansco album and most show no signs of toning. However, a few others are beginning to tone a little. One in particular has turned a real ugly grapey color. I suspect it was cleaned as why it toned like it did. But my Proofs aren't worth big bucks. I like looking at them in my Dansco book. It's handy. But if I had some rare PR70 DCAM cents then I would very definitely have them slabbed. I wouldn't put very valuable cents in a Dansco. They are just for looks not value...just my opinion.
