Hi
Although I've been reading these for a while now, this is my first post. I'm learning a lot here, and I need it. I have thousands and thousands of Lincolns to look through. Hopefully the pictures will go through correctly (or maybe one of you nice gents will help me if they don't).
Anyway, I came across this 1998 Lincoln and was wondering if you would give me your comments on it. Thanks for your help.

Hi Mary,
Welcome to the coppercoins forum. We are happy that you have been with us for a it, but even happier that you are posting.
Your pictures came through just fine. The problem is that they are just too small to see anything. I am assuming that there is some anomaly with the reverse motto.
If you could post a larger picture, it would give us a better shot at helping you out here.

Mary,
Never mind about posting larger pics. I went directly to your image site and saw the pics in a larger format. I really don't see anything wrong in the motto area. Maybe if you tell me what you are seeing, I can focus in on that area and get a better look at it. OK??

Thanks for replying so quickly. And, yes, Earwig, I was wondering if that was doubling on the motto.

It looks like it might be a form of mechanical/strike doubling. The only way for me to know for sure is to examine the coin in hand. I just can't tell with the photos provided.
