Some good news for a change...

My father was buried Tuesday evening. Unfortunately, due to my surgery, I was unable to attend. My family did send me a video of the service, and it was a beautiful thing. Once again, I thank everyone for their well wishes, sympathy and prayers.
The other issue was surgery I had to have to remove a cancerous tumor. I received the pathology results today, along with the blood tests to determine if any cancer 'markers' remained. It seems that the cancer was confined to the one testicle that was removed. I have pretty much been given a clean bill of health although I will be checked often for the next few years.
During the surgery, they gave me a 'new' testicle made out of silicone or something. I guess it's so that I don't tip over or lean to one side or something. Anyway, other than the pain at the incision site, I am doing better, both physically and mentally.

That's great news Bob that they got it all. I hope it never comes back. You're too good a guy. I'm sure you are looking forward to being with family after your recuperation. You seem to be doing very well and I wish you the best.

Bob: It is always great to get good news as most of the time it isn't. Get well soon. Great to hear your progress, and your bravery of dealing with all you are going through. I would have been too embarased to mention that surgery, So I guess that proves who has the ....... I can't say it.

Thanks guys! All of your comments mean more to me than you'll ever know and more than words can ever say. You truly are my other family. I pray I (or anyone else for that matter) never has to go through a similar ordeal. Should it ever come to pass that it does, rest easy in knowing the very best people in the world are all part of the coppercoins family.
