I'll sell you my Jailhouse Lincoln for $345! It's a 1984 and since I only have one of them, it's a one of a kind!

Only $345??? Let me see if I have any spare change around. I have that big pile of 1955 Doubled dies, and the 124 1943 copper cents around here somewhere. Will those do??? Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing

I'm going to have to by a large punch and alter it by shaping it to make marks like that pattern, and punch out a few of these. I could retire by next week if I start right now on that project.

The auction ended with no buyers. I really got to laugh at this one for it seemed that some time was spent doing the pictures and then there was the lengthy write up (bader speller, but then again, so am I, but I usually check), but what was the sense to it all. And then there is that "private" stuff. Marked this seller as one not to buy from. Sad.

Now if I could only find that die clash with Lincoln's head upside down on the obverse; I know it is in the house somewhere Confused

Get the may pole ready.

You all have a good one

BJ, just wait long enough and you'll read about alien coinage being found in a corn field in central Indiana. Muhahaha. Well, it won't be me! ...maybe not.

The shipping cost is really reasonable. But make sure you buy the insurance in case the next explosion destroys the shipment.
