This 1955P has strong extra thickness of the wheat stems, and shows separation in E-PLURIBUS-UNUM and the top of the wheat stalks. Most of the doubling is to the left side of the reverse. Yet again SORRY about the poor photos.
Thanks,
Steven

That is a nice class 2, distorted hub doubled die. I do not think we have that one on record yet. I found a decent 1955P doubled die reverse about five years ago, but misplaced it and haven't seen it since. It could be the same die. I have been looking for that coin or a replacement of it for a long time now. I knew one existed so I've been looking all these years. Congrats on beating me to the punch!

Thanks Chuck,
This ones got a bit of a corrosion build up on Obv & Rev. . I couldn't be lucky enough to find one in better shape. BUT still looking. I'm guessing EF-40 minus the crud factor and where I rubbed a bit to hard to remove a bit of it from the E-PLURIBUS -UNUM. Just found a '56P with separation on the end of the wheat stalks like this '55 with some monster extra thickness also.
