Curious about virtical bars inside letters in LIBERTY of this '60D large date. Haven't seen this before and was wondering if it would be anything of interest. Seen a lot of them in MMs but not in LIBERTY Confused

I have seen many of them Steven. They seem to be very prevalent on 1960D cents. Maybe you just hadn't noticed them before??

Looks like die scratches to me. A lot of cleaning seems to be happening in that area.
