I just read in CW magazine that someone has found a 1992 Close AM from the Philadelphia Mint from circulated coins. It's the only known example, but about a dozen examples have been found from the Denver Mint. So we should expand our searches for Close AM's to include the 1992 plains now if we haven't already been doing that. I have been looking at a few, but most 1992P cents that I have had went past my nose un-scrutinized. Now, every 1992 cent that I see will receive multiple metal detector scans and a full cavity search/colonoscopy. If it has a Close AM, I will find it!

And crap, I've been looking for the article and haven't seen it yet. Thanks for reporting about it, I would have missed it completely. I knew a couple of weeks ago that there was something new out there, and was watching for what it was.
