Oh, great...rub it in! LOL!

25 years I've been going through Lincolns and have NEVER found a 1939P-1DO-001. I have known abut it for a long time, and have been through dozens of rolls of 1939, and still don't have one. Mr. Bob has over a dozen of them that he has found. Of course he gave me one of the ones he found, but I still don't have a single piece to my credit. I think when I do find one I'm gonna frame it.

As for your other finds, sounds like a good start to a die variety collection. Your finds seem to be about average for a decent bag. You'll find that a vast majority of the bags out there have never been searched for die varieties.

I had a similar experience this past weekend. I have not spent much time on coins lately due to other priorities. To be honest I was also burnt out of getting burned on bad Ebay purchases. About a week ago I was watching a bag of 5000 wheaties that was only selling for $160 with a few minutes left. I put in a bid of $167 with only a second left and won. I thought my bid would be far below the late bidding frenzy. When I won I thought I just threw away some more good money. On Saturday I picked up the package at the post office. The first hadfull was all 1940's and 50's in typical circulate condition so I was sure I got scammed. This is what I found after searching about 40% of the bag:

1941P DDO-001
1941P DDO-001 again (for sale on Ebay)
1941P DDO-002
1943P DDO-001
1950S RPM#2
1953D RPM#2
Many other RPMs and possible DDOs and DDRs I am researching, including this 1944P double eye lid. Either DDO #4 or #5 on CONECA variety listing.

Glad to see you got some nice varieties there. You never really know what you'll get in a bag like that. The 1941 DDOs are extra nice. Those are a couple of my favorites from one of my favorite dates to search.

I just came across a 1957P DDO which I believe is 002

http://www.coppercoins.com/lincoln/diestate.php?date=1957&die_id=1957p1do002&die_state=mds

It does not have the die break that looks like a blob in the lower part of B in Liberty and the doubling on the 7 shows a clear separation on the bottom. Could this mean this would be the EDS version? I don't have time for a picture right now but I will try to post one later.

This bag of wheaties is my best one ever.

I just noticed CONECA list 1957P DDO-002 as a proof coin. Is that accurate?

Coneca's die #002 is a proof. However, If you take a look at our (coppercoins.com) die 2, it shows the cross reference as Coneca 1-O-VI. Many of our doubled dies do not cross numerically with anyone else's system, and sometimes they do. We do try to match up with their Repunched mintmark numbers though.
We have mentioned this before, but to reiterate:
Coppercoins.com uses it's own reference numbers. Any cross references are for information only, and are an extra service we offer. They may or may not be used, and when they are used, we try to be as accurate as possible. However, since CONECA, and other references are not necessarily publicly obtainable, then cross references may not be accurate, or not used at all. In addition, we have many more varieties identified than others.
Keep us informed of your finds rollmeupabe. Seems like you did iindeed get a nice bag there.
