I have been looking for a new camcorder and narrowed down my search to a Canon Elura 100 model. Just out of curiousity I checked on Ebay to see if there were any for sale. There are several but I am hesitant to buy one and then find out it was refurbished, stolen or otherwise. Has anyone purchased a new camera on Ebay? How did it work out? Can the PayPal buyer protection program protect against any possible frauds?

I've had no problems ... just as all ways ... protect yourself and if possible use a credit card (for extra protection) check the feedback get a feel for who your dealing with (wouldn't get something from some-one who hasn't been on long ) and good luck.
