Welcome to coppercoins, coppersleuth. Yes you are correct in your assumption on your coin. But it is the strongest I've seen on a proof coin. Yours and business strike show the moved metal look. Those are the easy to spot. When it is less and perhaps the only area affected makes us look hard. But always showing the flat shelf look on the right side/left side and sometimes both sides of a letter. I have some images where they letters look like they were made with peanut butter as they look smeared.

A great example of strike/mechanical doubling. I don't think I have ever seen one that bad on a proof coin. Must have been them Keebler elves playing with the machinery again _________________ Bob Piazza
