Thanks to those that have responded to delamination questions or offered observations.

Please see the pics of this 1960-D cent. Note the deep delamination to face, in field east of face, and to lower left of bust (shoulder) area.

in particular, see the deep delam to the entire date and mintmark area.

Any comments or obvservations would be appreciated. Thanks

Looks like a read bad mix on the planchet metal. Kind of reminds me of what "Benny Hill" said in a skit once when he was going to marry this homley gal for her money. He said:"Look at that face!" "Looks like an unmade bed!"
But I have seen some like that, but not just that bad....
