I found a box of new cents at the bank. I guess I got tired of going through all the old ones. I found four of these with what looks like double knees. Any opinions? I've found markers that are on each of these. these are pictures of 4 different coins.

Mary, Congratulations you have found 4 more DDR's that are probably too minor to list. As Bob will testify that is what i seem to do best. Very Happy ~lucky2

They may or not be too minor, but I sure would like to see them. It sure seems weird to me to have 4 different varieties that all look almost identical. Were these in the same rolls Mary...or just within the box?

I think she's saying is that she found 4 ddr's, each one having the same markers; they are four different coins but only ONE variety. That's the way I read it.

...and congratulations Mary! Nice. Very Happy

Murph's got it right, Bob. These are pictures of 4 coins of the same variety. And, yes, I did find them in the same roll. I'd be happy to send them to you to look at. Just need to know where to mail them TO.

Oh, and while I'm thinking of it, are they making these with different finishes this year? I found a couple that are not bright and shinny. They're more of a matte finish (to me) The beard isn't as pronounced. It seems to have flat spots. Maybe a worn die?

Mary...I sent you an email with the address to send them to. I did misunderstand what you said. I thought they were 4 different varieties Embarassed
As far as finishes go, there are the satin finish and normal finish strikes this year. The satin finish coins are supposed to be in mint sets, but I do believe (and maybe someone else can confirm this), that some satin finish cents are being found with the regular issues.
