Hello everyone. I found this 69S in a pile of cents and it is not on the site so i figured i would bring it here. i don't know what the mint mark position is but i would say close to N/S if that is even an option. here are a few photos. i am not known for my pictures so bear with me.

Gary: Looks like machine doubling. The 1968-70 are filled with them. Must of had a lot of operators sleeping on the job those years. Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

Can Machine Doubling happen to only the mint mark?

It can happen to any letter/number/mm obverse and reverse. I found one today that looked like a doubled die, on one letter, but the rest were machine doubled. I guess I'll have to find that one as it was different than regular machine doubled cents on just one letter. It had me look twice.
