Welcome aboard! Your first post has an image that opens. That's got to be a record. Looks like a North, not sure which one or year?

Looks like a potential North. I would guess one punch North, But I don't see any doubling other than the North above the mintmark. There should be an inside bar above the center of the mintmark. I don't see a listing other than one for this year, and it is not that one. The separation is stronger on yours. Sometimes die wear can make what appears as a RPM. So without a little more evidence than above the mintmark, a closer examination would be necessary. Bob would probably be interested in seeing this one. Lets see what he has to say.

Welcome to another Missourian,
Does this coin show any indication of the same effect at the top of the numbers in the date. I'm kinda leaning toward MD. Wouldn't necessarily have to be on the date as well though.
Again welcome
Steven

Die wear can look like doubling, but a closer examination might be necessary. Here is an example of the die wearing that makes it appear as a RPm and a doubled area on the date. Which it is neither, it is just a worn die.
Looking at the center curve on the east side there could be a North on the upper loop. The Center bar of the mintmark is distorted, so I would guess it looks good from what I can see.
Steven mentioned above the numbers. Is the same seperation there above the numbers? If so it could be machine doubling. If not it could be a RPM. So like I said a closer examination might be needed to know for sure.

With this photo it even looks more like MD due to the sharp shelf like appearance.
Just my opinion though.

It's not a worn die, or not just a worn die...it appears that it could be a combination of an RPM and machine doubling. There is machine doubling for sure, but some of what you see could be the result of a repunched mintmark too.

It could be good, but is not worth a whole lot. If it is an RPM, maybe $5. If it's not an RPM, you've got a circulated wheat...a few cents.
